Jamien's Response to Marni

I feel you should choose that topic you can find the most information on. I think you will find a lot of information on online social networking, because this has become more of a problem in teenage society. This topic is also in the new quite often. To find good information you should be interested in your topic you choose.

Things to consider...

Marni,

Your topics will probably have a ton of information. I like your three choices and I think with the arguments of today on either sides of your topics, many resources will become available. I think the only big thing to consider is to describe your reasoning for choosing your three topics, why? Does either of these choice have an effect on you? Use some of these questions as a guideline for describing your relations with the topics. Also, describe your success with each of the databases even more, does each have an appropriate amount of info? Does each database have up-to-date info that can be used? Just write about the databases, so it can give some readers some insight on which database he or she could use to get information. In the past couple of years, there have been article's and article's about texting and the effect it has on young scholars, that would be a very good topic to continue with because this world is changing and texting is huge! I would like to learn a lot more about that topic. I really liked it when you wrote about the two sides to a story, I think that is the right approach to a topic like if texting is good or bad, getting caught up on one side isn't always the right choice for researching. Overall I think you have very good complete topics, now it is just a question on whether you want to develop those topics. Good luck!!

Elliot's Response

I like how all your topics are about communication and teenagers, you will be able to relate to your topic, which ever you choose. In my opinion, I think Online Social Networking will be the easiest to find information on. Also, you can look at it from many different angles, such as how parents feel about it, the pro and cons, and the potential dangers it can have. I think you could find loads of new information and articles on this topic by doing a simple google search. The other two topics are also good too, and you could probably find articles on them.
