A few wrinkles are etching Facebook, other social sites. Notes 7

Even though teenagers and college students are more likely to use Facebook and other social sites, more recently adults ranging from ages 35-44 are beginning to make there very own personal Facebook profiles. More than most adults that use social networking use it for personal, rather than professional reasons. 89% of adults that have a profile use it to keep up with friends. 57% to make plans with friends. 49% to make new friends. Of all social networking site users 51% have two or more profiles. 43% have only one and 60% only allow friends to view their profile. Recorded from 2005 to 2008 social networking has grown 93%.
